SpaceCell was founded on a simple premise: acting on data in real time is a structural advantage, and achieving it should not require a fragmented stack of specialist systems.
Today’s analytics architecture often separates streaming, statistical computing and data transformation into different platforms, owned by different teams. The resulting integration work adds cost, delays delivery and creates latency that is difficult to remove.
Lightning brings those capabilities together in a single production engine. Our aim is to make live analytics a practical default for organisations whose performance depends on the speed and quality of their decisions.
Founder & CEO
Peter Bower is the founder of SpaceCell Enterprises and the principal engineer behind Lightning. Over more than fifteen years, he has built data and AI systems across defence, financial trading, insurance, healthcare and high-growth technology companies, where latency, correctness and operational reliability have direct consequences.
Across those environments, the same problem appeared repeatedly: organisations had capable teams, useful data and strong models, but too much infrastructure and time stood between an event and a decision.
SpaceCell Lightning was built to reduce that gap. It combines data manipulation, statistical computing and live streaming in a single engine, giving teams a simpler path from analysis to operational use.
